Comments about New55 - should we keep going? A real question.

What is with this pod machine. Is it something that Polaroid bought when it acquired Impossible? I'm sure I am not the only one who is confused.

Bob - I see videos of the pod machine being used to make your pods so I assume it still can be done and that this is some sort of business decision. If so then would it make sense to try to purchase it from 20 X 24 since they are ending in 2017?

This project just keeps shifting from one crisis or another. There is no planning and no organization and obviously this is a poorly run business. I would not invest in it or even donate anything to it, as it appears to be a plaything of a curmudgeonly Bob Crowley. I would like to know how much you pocket from all this overcharging.

Pods were made on 20x24's pod machine which belongs to them.

Hi Kenneth, the pod machine is built by New 55, and Polaroid didn’t acquire Impossible, it was the other way around. Impossible bought the name and rebranded as Polaroid Originals...

We don't have a pod machine so production is now stopped. 20x24 has the machine.

Why have you stopped production. I pulled out some of my old film cameras, and Polaroid film today. Began looking on line to come across your site; only to find out all is sold out, I had missed a wonderful Kickstarter, and now you’re gone. Perhaps if it did not take on like you had hoped, you simply did not reach the right people. Had I happened across your product months ago, it would have been you who brought me back into film. Are there other reasons you’ve ended you production? If it was interest, I believe you could still succeed, and just need to reach people who loved and enjoyed the art. I hope you reply.

Readers should know that Matt has made other unfounded, absurd comments like this on his own blog. I pocketed nothing from the project and in fact have over $200,000 cash into it that I had to pay for coating and also for hired help -something that Matt also complained about and got people convinced that there was something evil going on. Matt's motivations are unclear and his assertions are false. Bob Crowley
